I stuff peppers with this filling, it is my grandmother’s recipe: very tasty | Only 150 Kcal!

For a second dish that is different from the usual that will whet your appetite and not tire you out after the first bite, try tuna stuffed peppers and enjoy a knockout lunch or dinner. In fact, you will be hard pressed to find a better and tastier recipe than this one, which will make the peppers that much more interesting.

Even though this is a basic dish, it is still extremely tasty, not to mention that it also gives a touch of color to your table and, as a result, it is not so surprising that it manages to win over just about everyone.

In addition, since it contains little fat and calories, it is well suited to a dietary regimen, thus pleasing even those who make a lot of sacrifices to stay in shape. Tuna stuffed peppers

Ingredients

3 small peppers (red and yellow)
250-300 gr of natural tuna
40 g grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons capers
A few crumbled taralli
A few tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Just enough chopped chives (optional)
a drizzle of oil
Enough oregano
Enough salt

Preparation

  1. First cut the peppers in half, clean them by removing the seeds and inner filaments and then wash them under running water.
  2. Now put the tuna in a bowl, add the capers, the crumbled taralli, the grated Parmesan, the oregano, the oil, the chopped chives, mix with a spoon and season with a little salt.
  3. Fill the peppers with the filling, place them in a baking dish lined with baking paper, sprinkle with a handful of breadcrumbs and drizzle with a little oil.
  4. Finally, bake them in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. After baking, let them cool and all you have to do is serve them.
