In the pursuit of beauty, girls are often willing to spend a lot of money and countless hours. However, few people know that you can keep your youth and look flawless even without some professional tools and equipment. The main thing is to know some proven, working secrets.

We love non-standard but easy-to-implement solutions. And we are always happy when the recommendations we find make your life easier, too, so we have lovingly prepared a new batch of beauty hacks for girls.

1. Cucumber lotions for dark circles

You’ve probably heard about the benefits of wiping your face with ice. However, such an effect can be too aggressive for the delicate skin of the face. This method has a gentler and more useful substitute, and all you need is an ordinary cucumber.

The vegetable must be cleaned and cut into pieces, then put into a blender, add a spoonful of water and blend well. Pour the resulting mixture into an ice mold and put it in the freezer for about 4-5 hours. Then take a frozen cube and massage it into your face, especially the area under your eyes if you want to get rid of dark circles and puffiness. You can see the instructions on the video at the link.

2. Honey-coconut mask for treating damaged hair

Coconut oil has long proven its effectiveness in cosmetology. It is used in products for the body, face, nails, but the most noticeable effect it has on the hair, and this from the very first procedures. To make your hair softer and smoother, make a mask of coconut oil and honey.

Put 4 tablespoons of cold-pressed coconut oil in a bowl and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Then add 2 tablespoons of honey and mix until smooth. Apply the mask to lightly moistened hair and leave for at least 40 minutes, then wash with shampoo. Use once a week for fabulous results. Click here for details.

3. Dark Circles Emergency Makeup Mask

Contouring may not be for everyone, as it requires a lot of time and practice, but every sleep-deprived girl is interested in hiding dark circles.

Everyone knows that you should use a pink-colored under-eye corrector. But what if you don’t have it handy or don’t want to use it? Use an appropriate lipstick! The photo above is proof that it works no worse and is quite suitable for an emergency situation. If you are still in doubt, check out the video tutorial at the link.

4. Cool idea for carrying a beauty blender

Don’t know where to put your beauty blender when you’re traveling, or just want to take it with you to touch up your makeup? The solution is found: buy a similar analog to the Kinder Surprise with a large plastic mold of the appropriate size. (And don’t forget to make a few holes in the top of the lid so that the sponge doesn’t smell musty).

5. The original way to iron wavy curls

To create wavy, “beach” curls with an iron, twist your hair into thick or thin strands (depending on the effect you want to achieve) and heat them. And to make them more pronounced, make the usual braids of 3 strands, twist them and also go with an iron. You can see the result in the photo. More detailed instructions can be found here.

6. Homemade depilatory paste

To make a homemade depilatory paste devoid of aggressive chemicals, you will need 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of water, 2 cups of sugar. The ingredients should be mixed in a deep frying pan and stewed on the stove for 4-5 minutes at high temperature. As soon as the mixture boils, remove it from the heat and pour it into another bowl.

The texture will resemble caramelized sugar, but don’t be alarmed: let the substance cool and mix well until it starts to stretch like chewing gum. All further manipulations are absolutely the same as when working with wax. Additional information is here.

7. Eyelid makeup with a plastic spoon

Makeup that opens the eye and masks the overhanging lid is quite difficult to apply, because not only the movable lid is covered with shadow, but also the area above it, and it’s easy to overdo it. To make it easier to use the brush, use a spoon: it will help you not to miss, and its curve will tell you how long you need to paint the eyelid. Click here for a video tutorial.

8. Effective removal of black spots with petroleum jelly

What tricks do you have to use to get rid of those unwanted black spots? But as it turns out, even ordinary petroleum jelly can help.

Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to dry skin and cover with plastic wrap. Moisten a towel with warm water, squeeze it out a bit and place it over the plastic wrap. This will steam the skin and open the pores, making them easier to cleanse. After some time, remove the towel and the film, clean the skin, wash it with cold water and apply a moisturizing lotion. Important: Do not use this method every day, as it can make the pores larger. See the link for details.

9. Another way to create curls without a curling iron

To get real curls, not waves, without a curling iron, but armed with a curling iron, you will also need foil.

Wrap individual strands of hair around your fingers (for example, three strands for large curls, or one strand for small curls), carefully remove them and fix them in this position by wrapping a piece of foil around them. Once all the strands have been decorated in this way, heat each one with an iron for 20 to 40 seconds, wait for the foil to cool and remove it. Mist the resulting hairstyle with hairspray. 10. Mask for clean and silky skin

To cleanse the skin of dirt, make it smooth, soft and silky, soothe irritated areas and prevent rashes, a useful mask that is easy to make at home will help.

Mix 1 tablespoon of gelatin (odorless), pure honey and milk in a bowl. Add 5-8 drops of tea tree oil (which has therapeutic and antiseptic properties). Mix well and heat the mixture in the microwave for no more than 10 seconds. Touch so that the mixture is not too hot (but remains warm) and quickly apply to the entire face. After 20-25 minutes, the mask will dry and firm and can be removed. For more detailed recommendations and photos, click here.

11. Proper lip application without cracks and lumps

In order for the liquid lipstick to make the lips more attractive and not to emphasize the cracks, it is very important to carry out some manipulations before applying it.

The main thing in the beauty and youth of the lips, as well as, in fact, the face, hands and other things, is quality hydration. Apply a colorless balm to your lips, let it soak in a little, and then gently massage your lips with a normal wet cloth. Then apply the balm again and, using a sponge, cover your lips with a light layer of your foundation. Now you can safely apply your lipstick. You can watch the video by clicking on the link.

12. Homemade patches of matcha tea for puffiness and dark circles

12 self-care tricks that even lazy girls will appreciate

Japanese powdered matcha green tea is known to be rich in antioxidants and tannins, which reduce puffiness. This recipe also calls for some turmeric, which has brightening properties.

Pour water into a small bowl, add 1 teaspoon of matcha and a pinch of turmeric. Stir, cut a cotton pad in half, and soak the halves well in the resulting solution. Apply the wet patches to the area under the eyes for about 30 minutes. Remove them after half an hour and use another clean pad to remove the remaining moisture from the skin (but do not wash it off). There are no restrictions on the use of this tool.
