3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
10g powdered sugar (or sweetener to taste, maltitol, stevia or erythritol)
Just enough powdered sugar (to decorate the cake)
- Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, add the beaten egg yolks and cook for a few minutes.
- Separately, in a large bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric whisk until stiff, when they are whipped, add the sweetener to taste (or icing sugar) and mix again with the whisk.
- Finally, spread the beaten whites evenly over the yolks, cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for about 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.
- Now place the dessert on a dessert plate, divide it into 2 equal halves and place one half on top of the other (like a sandwich). Finally, sprinkle with icing sugar, cut into slices and enjoy!
