Ingredients

3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
10g powdered sugar (or sweetener to taste, maltitol, stevia or erythritol)
5g butter
Just enough powdered sugar (to decorate the cake)

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, add the beaten egg yolks and cook for a few minutes.
  2. Separately, in a large bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric whisk until stiff, when they are whipped, add the sweetener to taste (or icing sugar) and mix again with the whisk.
  3. Finally, spread the beaten whites evenly over the yolks, cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for about 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.
  4. Now place the dessert on a dessert plate, divide it into 2 equal halves and place one half on top of the other (like a sandwich). Finally, sprinkle with icing sugar, cut into slices and enjoy!
