6 eggs
150 ml milk
Just enough salt
1 stick of butter for the baking dish


  1. First, break the eggs in a bowl, add salt and beat them with a hand whisk to make them nice and smooth.
  2. Now add the milk, stir as needed, after which decant the mixture into a round baking dish previously buttered.
  3. Finally bake in a preheated oven until the omelet has puffed up and sufficiently browned at a temperature of 180°C (350°F). When finished, lay it on a plate, cut it into slices and serve it perhaps with a side of pan-cooked or boiled vegetables or a light salad.

The baked omelet is also very versatile because you can add to the inside of the mixture, before baking in the oven, whatever you want, sliced vegetables, some diced lean meats, a few tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. The choice is yours!
